As children our parents always wanted to know where we were and what we were doing. I think the standard answers were out and stuff. Now that we are retired, it is our children who want to know where we are and what we are doing. The standard answers are out and about and spending your inheritance. Several years ago on a three month trip to Alaska I sent frequent emails to friends and relatives documenting our travels. This seemed to be well received but I did not know if people were just being polite. This Blog is meant to painlessly provide current whereabouts and activities(now) and to recall past(then) adventures for our grandchildren (primary) and children(secondary) and interested relatives and friends.
FYI: As of 2007 I am a 66 year old retired Marine and retired Pinkerton Security Manager. My wife of 40 years (a retired purchasing agent) and I live in upstate NY and winter in Florida. We travel with or without our 5th wheel trailer or our truck camper.
