Today we took a tour of Tyndall AFB. More Later. At Appalachicola last week we found a sponge shop located in the original sponge exchange.
And outside were barrels of various types of real sponges.

The Tin Shack ( I think) is a nautical antique shop with tons of interesting things including old charts (the sand bars have probably shifted), sharks teeth (very large), etc.

Friday was a beautiful day and we had nothing else planned so on the spur of the moment we decided to go to Appalachicola which is 52 miles southeast of here by way of Mexico Beach and Port St Joe. You will be seeing more of Appalachicola but this is the main street.

The LtCol in charge of base services came to the Recreation Center to listen to and address concerns. The Campground is well run but there is always room for improvement. The meeting was well received by all and good information was exchanged.

Each table of four gets a deck of cards to distribute. A caller draws cards at random from his deck and as a card is called all players with that card discard it. First person with no cards left gets bingo.

What a nice feeling. Our own site. No sewer but we have everything else.
Last Thursday we went to the Recreation Hall for Card Bingo. Each table of four gets a deck of cards that are distributed to the four players. Then Ron, the host, calls cards at random and players discard those cards. First one to get rid of all their cards wins.
