Traveled with John and Nancy the 300 miles to Kings Bay. Made it. The first picture is the missile display on base and the second is inside the Irish Pub at the Base Bowling Center where the four of us had drinks and sandwiches. No one felt like cooking.
From left to right: Polaris A-1, A-2, and A-3. In the middle is the Trident 3. And then: Poseidon C-3 and Trident C-4 .
Two dartboards advertising guess what at the Irish Pub.

Last night was the second to last night here so it was PoFolks for dinner for six and then Jokers for eight. The women won but not by much. Today is our last day. Breakfast at Corams for four. Then Church. Then getting ready to go. And then Golden Corral for six for dinner. Below is Corams. The food is actually very good as long as you don’t look at the cooking area.

Eight of us had dinner at Old Bay, an excellent seafood restaurant in Ft Walton Beach. The Steamer for two was enormous and if it weren’t for the mussels and oysters I would have tried it.

A long day. Took John and Nancy and their daughter Barbara down 30A to Seaside. Wandered and then had lunch at Bud and Allys. Then drove through Watercolor and got back around 4 PM. Left at 5 PM for Friday Fest, a once a month downtown Panama City Festival (old cars, food, vendors and music). Went to St Andrews for dinner at Captain’s Table and then to the Granite Cafe for Green Beer except I opted for regular and Betty had wine. Got home at 10 PM.
